Flat, wide dirt roads through the vineyards makes this the perfect place to take your older or soft footed horses that couldn't normally handle rough footing or lots of hills like a normal trail ride!
The plan is to haul in to Kelli's house after 9am and be ready to ride out at 10am while it's still cooler. Please wear a helmet if you have one and wear sun protection. We will be walking only so saddle bags with water is encouraged. There is no time stipulations and we can go as long or as short as the group feels.
Afterwards you can haul back home or stay a while and join us for some local winetasting at any of the three wineries neighboring Kelli's property: Prie, Klinker Brick, and Stonum.
REQUIREMENTS: Please no stallions, green horses, or those not friendly around other horses (safety is our priority!) No ponying other horses and only one horse per rider. You are of course welcome to join us on foot if you'd prefer to walk the vineyards or don't have a horse available. Must be a WCCD member (the liability release you signed is good for the whole year) and haul-in cost is $10 per rider (please bring cash or check).
